WCK Serving 1 Million Daily Hot Meals in Gaza

Today marks an extraordinary moment in World Central Kitchen's response in Gaza: we're now serving one million hot meals every day.

That's close to half the population receiving a reliable meal each day—made possible by our network of Field Kitchens, community kitchens, bakeries, and local partners working tirelessly on the ground.

Since 2023, WCK teams have served more than 272 million meals, 73 million loaves of bread, and 6.4 million gallons of water. This milestone represents our largest daily operation yet, enabled by more predictable access to food and supplies, and the current ceasefire allowing safer movement and expanded reach into previously inaccessible areas.

But progress doesn't mean the crisis is over. Hunger remains widespread, and challenges like fuel interruptions and security concerns persist. These meals meet an urgent demand, but they don't eliminate it.

What makes this achievement truly remarkable is the people behind it. Our local Palestinian team members and partners who, despite being affected by the crisis themselves, show up every day to cook for their neighbors.

Thank you for standing with us as we continue this vital work. Because feeding people is the most basic act of humanity, and Gaza still needs the world to show up.
